July Curb Appeal Weekend *UPDATED*

The presentation shown at the July 21/14 Council meeting has been added to this article.  It's approximately 4:30 long (no sound).

The Curb Appeal subcommittee of the BIA was active again this past weekend.  Subcommittee chair, Doug Kuyvenhoven, organized work groups for Friday and Monday evenings (July 4 & 7) and Saturday morning, July 5 to freshen up various business fronts along Josephine St.  Click on the "Read More" link for some pictures of the volunteers as well as some before and after pictures of the work.

The Curb Appeal subcommittee has had 3 weekends of work since last summer, using volunteer labour to do painting and light maintenance work.  The results have been extremely well received by the public and business owners alike.  But the great thing about this is the number of people stepping up to volunteer their time to do the work.  Each event has more people, from different businesses, volunteering to help make Wingham a place to be proud of.
