2015 Santa Claus Parade

Saturday, Nov. 28 saw the arrival of the North Pole's most famous residents in Wingham. Santa and Mrs. Claus came to town at the end of a great parade organized by the Wingham Lions Club.

Christmas Lighting in Cruickshank Park

The Lighting of the Park on Friday evening, Nov. 20, was quite a success. Lots of families and individuals came out to participate and join in singing Christmas Carols. The BIA was recognized for continuing to invest in this event and making this into an attraction for families to visit Wingham.

Community Cash

Wingham BIA has set up a Community Cash program as an incentive for local shopping. Community Cash can be purchased only at LIBRO from Nov. 16 to Dec. 18 in books of $200 (10 x $20) for $180 – a 10% savings. $10,000 will be available in 2015, but a maximum of $200 can be used on a single purchase. Wingham's annual Santa Claus parade will take place Saturday, Nov. 28. Start time is 11:00 a.m. from the Public Works Dept. building in Wingham. If you are entering a float, please arrive by 10:30 a.m. Contact information and registration form can be found attached to this update.
