Community Cash

Wingham BIA has set up a Community Cash program as an incentive for local shopping. Community Cash can be purchased only at LIBRO from Nov. 16 to Dec. 18 in books of $200 (10 x $20) for $180 – a 10% savings. $10,000 will be available in 2015, but a maximum of $200 can be used on a single purchase. Santa Claus Parade - 2015

Wingham's annual Santa Claus parade will take place Saturday, Nov. 28. Start time is 11:00 a.m. from the Public Works Dept. building in Wingham. If you are entering a float, please arrive by 10:30 a.m. Contact information and registration form can be found attached to this update.

Ontario Registered Pension Plan

The Ontario Liberals are planning to establish an Ontario Registered Pension Plan beginning in 2017, depending on business size. This can affect Ontario businesses large and small if fully implemented. Gazebo Refurbished

Over this past summer a group of local volunteers has successfully restored the Wingham Gazebo to its previous splendor.This Gazebo was originally located at the Wingham Cruickshank Park and was constructed between 1946-1948. There it was a Band Stand for special events and local musician played every Sunday during the summer months. It was moved to the William St location several years ago. Weeds Whacked

Thanks to Tharon Riley and Alistair Whytock for coming out to our Weed Whack Wingham event this past Friday, June 19! The weeds from the Riverview Drive-In parking lot, all the way to the Dollar Store sidewalks were cut down to a tiny stubble by our energetic team.
