July Curb Appeal Weekend *UPDATED*

Wingham BIA Summer Plans

Wingham BIA will be placing a float in the Homecoming parade for the 2014 celebration. A sub-committee has been busy with design work and presented a draft at the June 19 general meeting. The expectations are that the float will be used in other area parades, both summer and at Christmas time to promote the Wingham business community. In other news, the Curb Appeal work continues. June 6, 7 & 8 marks the 9th annual Musical Muskrat Festival. Josephine Street Planters Installed

A group of local business people gathered bright and early on May 28 to install planters and hanging baskets at businesses along Wingham's Josephine Street. This was one of the projects of the BIA's Curb Appeal subcommittee. Coordinated by the BIA's Doug Kuyvenhoven, the 100 planters and baskets were placed between 6 & 7 a.m., before the main traffic of the day started.
