BIA Project Honours Fallen Soldiers

Back in February, when the Wingham Business Improvement Association (BIA) approved their 2017 budget, two projects with a specific focus on Remembrance Day were simultaneously approved by its members. Festival of Lanterns 2017

The weather held for Wingham's 4th annual Festival of Lanterns. Several carved pumpkins decorated the steps and front lawn of the Town Hall as adults and children wandered through the site. A haunted bus along with several hay bale Minions gave the site a true Halloween feel. A very big THANK YOU goes out to Mark and Lorraine McDougall, Lisa Hearnden, Dave Peers and Sandy Walker for all their hard work and organization.

Sprucing Up Wingham

With the nicer weather upon us several businesses have taken the opportunity to spruce up their appearance. That, plus the annual installation of flower planters on storefronts and the new Canada flags on the light posts are giving Wingham the nicest main street in Huron County. Tis the Season
